Yeah fellows!!
Long time no c... but back online now. HAPPY NEW YEARl!!

I already got some perfect days of skiing on the Arlberg last week and I was pretty bussy with shootings. I did some epic shoots with Peter Mathis, it was just awesome to ski with my buddys and work with one of the best photographers!!!

Now I am at home in the Carinthian mountains, supporting my buddys in the skischool and my brother in the hotel :-)I will head over to Mammoth CA on the 8th of Jan for the WORLD TOUR Qualification. I am looking forward to a cool trip with my brother Luke and my buddy HAUNI :-)Party hard!!

Hello!

After weeks of depressed sitting at home and waiting for snow winter is
on now, so let the energy flow!
I just got back home to carinthia last night from the Red Bull
Tribalquest in Nendaz/CH.
So now, sitting on my desk, with a beautiful view on the snow covered
Nocky Mountains I find some time to report what happen and what will
happen in the upcoming weeks.

I am happy, after canceling Engadin Snow Contest, I went last week to
my fist competition this winter to the O'neill Freeride Quest in
Schruns/AUT, witch is the qualification
for the Freeride Quest in Flain.  www.freeridequest.fr These 2 stops
are part of the Nissan Freeride Tour, witch ends up with the legendary
Verbier Xtreme in March.

The snow conditions in Schruns were poor last week, but the contest was on, and everyone was motivated for sure!After raining on the day before to 3000m and a clear night, conditons were a kind of tricky ;-)At the morning session riders become selected for the finals in the afternoon, let me say there were some very strong riders at the stage.

With sun the snow becomes better in the afternoon, we started to hike
up to the top of the Hochjoch, the final face.
I was real focused and relaxed that day so I selected a quite fluid

line and just try to have fun, yeeaahh and it worx, it was fun shreddin' down with these hard conditions.So I did the third place and got the ticket to Flain 8.-9. Feb., I am
so happy to start the first competition like this, after my knee injury
last  Feb. So let me say I am BACK, stronger and faster than before !!!! ;-)

Directly from Schruns I went on with my buddy and mentor Flo Örley to the Red Bull Tribalquest, witch is the first edition of an invitational Photocompetion organised by Snowboarder and Nendaz local Alex Coudray.
We were split up in teams of three, one Snowboarder, one Skier and one
Photographer. After two days of bad weather we did some epic shoots on
thursday and friday.
We didn't win, but we got some perfect shoots in the pocket and go back
home with a smile in the face after days with friends and fun on the
mountain. Thats what it is all about, and for me the Tribalquest is
just the perfect concept of a freeride competion, for sure!!! cheers to
Red Bull and Alex, go on with it!!!
