PowWoW Railbattle, Augsburg
i just came back home from the pow wow railbattle in augsburg, germany!
it´s the biggest railcomp in germany and a lot of people all over europe are comin there every year for having a sick session!
this year there have been a lot of austrian, swiss, belgium, dutch, polish, Czechs, finish and of course german riders!
after the qualification on friday everybody had a sick party on friday night, and some a little bit to much beer...
anyway with a little delate of 1hour the comp was starting on saturday!
at 6pm the finals were goin down and the best 10skiers and 10snowboarders were goin head to head!
everybody did at least 270, 270out or a bunch of change ups!
so the level was quite high and 5snowboarders and 5skiers qualified for the super final which was a 45min jam session!
the level was rising again and everybody was blowing with switch
tricks, switch 270, pretzels, unnatural 270 and even
lipslide270 in or 450in from the side onto the rail!
in the end the ranking was like this:
Freeski Men
1. Platz: Roy Kittler (Germany)
2. Platz: Benedikt Mayr (Germany)
3. Platz: Oskari Raitanen (Finland)
4. Platz: Szczepan Karpiel (Poland)
5. Platz: Xavier Gehring (Germany)
Freeski Women
1. Platz: Katrien Aerts (Belgium)
2. Platz: Eva Patscheider (Austria)
3. Platz: Caja Schoepf (Germany)
4. Platz: Robina Romani (Netherlands)
5. Platz: Kerstin Weibeler (Germany)
Snowboard Women
1. Platz: Britte van der Pouw (Netherlands)
2. Platz: Helene Nadig (Switzerland)
3. Platz: Maya Gehrmann (Germany)
4. Platz: Andrea Lucht (Germany) & Mandy Langbroek (Netherlands)
Snowboard Men
1. Platz: Gerben Verweij (Netherlands)
2. Platz: Paz Gruber (Austria)
3. Platz: Chris Boehnke (Germany)
4. Platz: Marcus Bernhard (Austria) & Wouter de Lange (Belgium)
here is also a little edit i´d put together, it´s not evrything on it put quite a bunch of nice tricks, so watch and enjoy!Cheers Roy

trainigs sesssions in hintertux
Hey everybody
i just wanted to drop everybody a line and let u guys know what i´m up to right now!
since 3weeks i´m in hintertux now getting some training done for the upcomin season!
it´s really nice here a lot of austrian skiers and international proriders are here right now, like anti autti or jakob wester!
the park got a double kicker line with 18 and 17m table and a superpipe as well as a corner and some smaller kicker a straight box and a rainbow box!
so right now that´s the place to be to get into a good shape for winter time!
now everything is working again like last winter and i also learned soem new double grabs and tricks!
by the way...i have been to kaunertal on the weekend and did the comp over there, and just won the pipe comp...
enjoy the pics and the little vid i´d put togerther in a couple of minutes and i wish everybody to have a nice winter and pray for tons of poooooooooow

Semis and Finals at the US Open Slopestyle
yesterday was the day of Slopestyle Semi´s and Finals, nearly all Nike ACG Skier made it to Semis!
the semi´s were made of two heats!
Andreas, Thomas and me made it straight up to finals with top scors and sick tricks!
the most surprising fact was that a lot of the prequalified pro´s didn´t made it to the finals instead a lot of scandinavian riders made it to the finals!
at the end Jon Olsson did the sickest run of the day witch included a left misty 9 to sw misty left 10 to switch right 9 to kangaroo! PK Hunder came in second while Andreas made third place, with sick back to back 10´s and blindside 360change up´s and 630 out on the rails!
Thomas Dolplads came in 7position!his consistant riding was awesome!
I ended up in 9th position after crashing on my second run!I was a bit unlucky while I was in 4position after the the Semi´s!
All in all it was a pretty good comp with the sickest riding level I had ever seen!
tonight will be the big air and tomorrow the halfpipe finals so stay tuned for more updates!
cheers Roy

US Open day 3
yehaw here we go!
today was the second day of qualification!
yesterday heat 1 and heat 2 showed there skills. Normally Rich would be in the 2heat but he hurt his back during the training on thuesday and was relaxing in the hotel for beiing completly recovered for the upcoming X-Games!
today was the turn of heat 3 and 4! Martin was in heat 3 but just ended up in 12place after hurting his calf on the up rail! otherwise he would have done better for sure!
heat 4 was up to Thomas Dolplads who ended up second, with sick switch 10´s and consistance on the rails! I ended up first with sw 10`s, switch unnatural 7`s and a gap 450 to box!
so tomorrow will be semi finals and finals!
Team Nike ACG will kill it there for sure!
watch out for the report of the semi`s and finals!
cheers Roy

US Open day 1
hey everybody
today was the first day of the US Open,
just practise but still good!
the set up is about 4kickers and after you can choose between a straight to down box, a gap to rail and a straight rail after you can choose between a double kink and a straight to down rail and the last obstacle is a A-frame box!
the kickers are really fun but the rails are really strange!
so will see how it works tomorrow!
one more shitty thing is that they announce the heats at 7, tomorrow in the morning!means you have to wake up so early!
the riding level was really high so look out for the first heats tomorrow...
cheers Roy
