Hi Everyone,

I Just got back from BC, Canada a few hours ago. Still jetlagged.

I spent a sick week overthere, 30 to 40 cm of fresh pow every day for one week. The amount of snow is just big overthere, nothing to compare with the conditions in Europe at the moment.

We've been shooting on the mountain and with the sleds, in the backcountry.

medium_DSC09265.JPG SO MUCH POWDER!! Sleding was even better than riding, it was too much snow!

Hopefully, I had my Cholesterone, the new pow backcountry ski from Amplid, just an incredible ski. 130mm underfoot, that what we need!!

You'll hear about this ski soon, that's just the perfect ski for BC.

Photographers and cameramen were here for capturing all this, that's all in the box!

Pictures and footage are just unbielievable for a 19th of December.

Here is a preview of one the spot we rode, a nice cliff drop, with a huge matress of snow the landing...what we love...

medium_DSC09268.JPGI'll give you more news soon, at the moment, I'm back on the old continent, in the "dry" Europe.

I hope it will get better soon...I'm praying everynight mother Nature...drop us some snow, please....

At the moment, just enjoy those few pics....

++ Everyone, see ya

Dan Wakeham

I am out in Colorado at the moment with the British snowboard team

The pipe and park here is so good, it almost makes me sad to leave. the pipe here has to be the best in the world at this time of year and
as far as i am concerned it is a better pipe than the olympic pipe.
I competed in the Grand prix on the weekend (of the 16th dec) there was a very high level of riding and there were competitors from all nations. Gary and Sophie were here with the French team.
On the day of the comp i rode well with just small mistakes. i finished 22nd which i was happy with but it was almost a shame as i just missed out on the finals by two places.
i am home now for christmas and newyear then i wil be out to Arosa for the World Champs on the 13th Jan.
I have been building a web site:

Air and Style 2006

This years comp was held in the Olympic Stadium, Munich and attracted a huge crowd of nearly 30,000 snowboard fans.

Undoubtedly one of the biggest and best comps in Europe, this year was hailed as the 'best ever' by organiser and founder Andrew Hourmont.

The tricks were jaw dropping and the competeition hot. Unfortunately ACG rider Rudi Kroell was not competing but cheered on his brother Chris, who came in at a respectable 16th.

1st Travis Rice; 2nd Risto Mattila; 3rd Antti Autti; 4th David Benedek.medium_Air_and_Style_-_Munich_Dec_2006_099.JPG medium_Air_and_Style_-_Munich_Dec_2006_437.JPG

Graham ties the knot, under the Elk!

medium_thumb_Graham_and_Tash_Wedding_Nov_2006_093.3.JPG Congrats to Nike ACG Team leader Graham MacVoy who got married last weekend.....

........under the Elk. We thought this a gag when we heard, but upon seeing the photos....its true!

Flippin 'Elk!

The Elk himself reported that the wedding was a fine occasion and the couple looked lovely, however the canapes were rather too rich and our antlered amigo had to retire early with, er, stomach pains...
